When it comes to getting your nails done, there are so many different options it can be hard to decide which type to choose. If you are looking for some glamorous false nails instead of just a simple manicure, you have two main options – acrylic and gel.

Acrylic Nails:Acrylic nails have been around for longer than gel, and for that reason they are still the more popular choice. Acrylic can be used to cover your natural nails to give them strength, or over false tips to add length and shape. There are a few advantages to choosing acrylic instead of gel. Acrylic nails are generally cheaper than gel nails, so if you are on a budget they are a great choice. They are also easier to remove than gel, and can simply be soaked off in nail polish remover. Because of the strength of the acrylic, these nails tend to last longer depending on how fast your natural nails grow.
